  • When installing the OE transmission line (male to female fitting) there is an additional NUT on the fitting-referred to as a "jam" NUT. This NUT is used to secure the transmission line to various depths of the female fitting. After the male fitting is screwed in as far as it will go, the "jam" NUT is then screwed down to secure the fitting. Note: this will leave threads showing between the "jam" NUT and the top of the transmission line. This will be a secure fitting and not a "warranty-did not fit" situation.
